Lozik

Andrey Lozinsky. The workshop.

Some people work with materials. Others work against their limitations.

Andrey was the second kind.

He made his own tools when the existing ones were not precise enough.

Cutters, presses, forms. Built by hand for a specific problem, then set aside until the next one appeared. He chose the best materials he could find. Not for the price. For what they allowed him to do.

He was a leatherworker, but also a fisherman and a guitarist. The same attention moved through all of it. The kind that does not clock out.

His deadline was perfection. Everything else, including his own health, could wait.

The workshop is still there in the photographs.

The work speaks clearly enough.
